What are adhesive discs and labels used for?
Adhesive discs and labels are small self-adhesive fixings used across retail and packaging. Double-sided discs mount posters and signage without visible tape, sealing labels close and tamper-proof packaging, and glue dots bond lightweight materials like card and plastic together.
What's the difference between double-sided discs and sealing labels?
Double-sided discs have adhesive on both faces, usually one permanent and one peelable, so they hold a poster or shelf-edge label in place and can be lifted off later without residue. Sealing labels are single-sided and used to close a flap or box rather than mount something to a surface. If you're fixing signage, use a double-sided disc. If you're sealing packaging, use a sealing label.
How do I choose the right product for my application?
Start with what you're trying to do. Mounting posters, signage or shelf-edge labels to FSDUs calls for a double-sided disc such as our Perm/Peel range. Closing or tamper-proofing packaging calls for a sealing label, available in permanent, removable or perforated grades. Bonding two lightweight surfaces together, such as card to plastic, is best done with a glue dot.
Will these discs damage the surface I'm fixing to?
Removable or peelable grades won't damage most painted walls, glass, acrylic or laminated card, and they're designed to come away without leaving marks. Permanent grades are meant to stay put and aren't intended for removal. Always check the adhesive grade against your surface before fixing anything long-term or high-value.
What materials are these discs and labels made from?
Can I get these in custom sizes or made to order?
Sealing labels are available in permanent, removable and perforated adhesive grades across a few standard sizes, and glue dots come in permanent or removable versions too. We don't currently offer cut-to-length or bespoke sizing on this range: get in touch with our team if you need something outside the standard options.
