What Is This Product?

The Plastic Thumb Tack Suction Cups are a fixing component for mounting or hanging signage on glass, acrylic and other smooth, non-porous surfaces. Each cup has a small tack built into the centre, so you push it through paper, card or thin signage material and the suction cup takes care of holding it against the glass. No drilling, no adhesive, no marks left behind.

They're made from Clear PVC and come in three diameters, 20mm, 35mm and 50mm, so you can match the size to the weight and scale of what you're fixing. The suction cup and tack are supplied together as one two-part unit, ready to use straight from the pack.

They work best on flat, clean surfaces such as glass, acrylic, Perspex and PVC. They're not designed for painted walls, plaster, or textured or fabric surfaces, since suction needs a smooth, non-porous contact area to hold properly.

How It Differs From Thumb Screw Suction Cups

Both products use a PVC suction cup to grip glass or acrylic, but the fixing mechanism is different. The Thumb Tack Suction Cup has a tack that pushes through paper or card, holding it flat against the glass. The Thumb Screw Suction Cups use a threaded screw instead, so you can attach hanging cord or wire and suspend heavier or bulkier display items rather than pinning flat material directly to the surface.
