What Is This Product?
Black Sew-On Hook Tape is the hook half of a hook and loop fastening system. It comes on a 25m roll at 50mm wide and is made from nylon, with no adhesive backing, so you stitch it straight onto fabric, canvas and other soft materials.
The hook side has the rough, gripping texture. It only fastens to a loop surface, so you will need matching loop tape, sold separately, to complete the fastening.
Once sewn in place, the tape gives you a reusable fastening that opens and closes as often as needed. That makes it useful for fabric graphics, covers and panels that have to come off and go back on.

How It Differs From Black Weldable Hook and Loop Tape
This tape is fixed by stitching. Black Weldable Hook and Loop Tape is an iron-on tape with a non-adhesive backing, fixed with heat instead. Choose sew-on tape when you are working with a sewing machine or with fabrics that won't take heat. Choose weldable tape when heat fixing suits your production process.
